Confirmation

Yes. Confirmation is faith development and learning for seventh and eighth grade youth. It is a response of learning and faith to God’s YES in the gift of Holy Baptism.
Yes. Confirmation group begins in September, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Check the web site calendar for more details.
Yes, we study five key pieces of Martin Luther’s road map of faith, also known as “The Small Catechism”
The key parts of study are:

• The Ten Commandments
• The Apostles’ Creed
• The Lord’s Prayer
• The Sacrament of Holy Communion
• The Sacrament of Holy Baptism.

YES…we meet using a small group model. We gather for an ice breaker, Bible study and discussion/video on the topic for the day.
Confirmation is taught by Pastor Rich, adults, and past confirmation kids who assist with small group time.

The Rite of Confirmation is in season of Easter. The Rite of Confirmation is a part of our worship where second year confirmation youth say yes to God’s YES at the altar with their parents and if possible, sponsors at baptism.
