Our Bedrock Beliefs
- We believe in the forgiveness and life saving message of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten son, who came into the world not to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. Jesus is the way, truth, and the life for all humankind! (John 3:16)
- We believe in the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, revealed in God’s words, our source and norm for faith and life. The Holy Scriptures is our guide and authority. Led by the Spirit in the Word, we seek to know, follow, and share Jesus.
- We believe in the priesthood of all believers. We believe everyone at their baptism into Christ is a mission partner in the kingdom of God and is gifted by the Holy Spirit for ministry any time and any place in Jesus’ name. We seek to outfit people to fulfill the dreams God gives them for service.
- We believe in the power of prayer to nourish us in a real and personal relationship with God in Jesus. We believe prayer not only changes things, but it changes us to become mature Christ followers.
- We believe in the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:16-20) It is the mark of a faithful church. We are called to be faithful, creative, and visibly engaged in the community.
